Visit Buyukada, the biggest and the most famous island of the Princes’ Islands. Situated off the coast of Istanbul, Buyukada has an advantageous altitute which enable you to see the best panoramic views of the four hills. Buyukada was named after Aya Yorgi (St. George ) Church.
Bicycles are an option for transportation here. There are approximately 100,000 of islands; however, it is the only location in Turkey where hikes cyclists are required to have license plates.
After a first class meal at one of the Island’s local fish restaurants, we will go on our exploration of the island by phaeton (horse-cart), which is a symbol of throw-back to a bygone era.
